Description

Mary (Betty) Elizabeth Langley was born in 1925 in Centertown, Kentucky. She was a graduate of Western Kentucky University, and maintained a professional and academic relationship with her alma mater upon graduating. In the following interview Langley details her experiences at Western and University of Kentucky clinics, as well the first women's Kentucky State Tennis Tournament in 1960. Langley also shares her experiences as both a high school and college level Physical Education educator, and the "exceptional" athletes and coaches that she encountered during her years of service.
