In this interview, Nim Henson, a Breathitt County native, details his family, employment history and public service career. He discusses judicial job duties, the Judicial Referendum, Fiscal Court, the advantages and disadvantages of the coal industry, Revenue Sharing, and county growth. He concludes that a lack of garbage collection, adequate hospital services and recreation are the major problems that Breathitt County faces. He considers the construction of a nursing home to be a major accomplishment during his tenure.
