  • DescriptionMr. Delaware informs us that he was in the Kentucky Army National Guard. He enlisted at the age of 17 with parental consent. He completed Basic Training at Ft. Knox, Kentucky and his AIT at Ft. Benning Georgia. He reached the level of Sergeant during his time in duty. He had several MOSs while he was in the military. He received a Warriors Medal of Honor from the Flathead Nation in Montana, due to him being a Native American who served in combat. His jobs while overseas were lieutenants drive and policing guard duty. He was injured in training in Mississippi, prior to his deployment. He enjoyed serving his country and said that being able to help after massive flooding in early 80's and then again during the relief efforts following Hurricane Katrina were his greatest memories, because it was on the home-front and that made him feel like he was actually making a difference.
