In this interview, EKU faculty member Dr. Jon McChesney describes his educational experiences and the ways that has EKU influenced his life.

Adrianna Francis is from Floyd County, KY, and graduated from Pikeville College in 1959. In this interview, Dr. Francis comments on teaching in the College of Education at EKU for 32 years, past EKU Presidents, supervising student teachers, and teaching graduate students.

Norma Robinson was born in Estill County, Kentucky, and attended Model Laboratory School in Richmond, Kentucky, before coming to EKU. Ms. Robinson majored in education with English and history, before going to teach in Lancaster and Bardstown. Bill Walters grew up in Madison County and attended EKU. This interview discusses his impressions of the school and the on-the-job experience he obtained while in college. He recounts instructors, entertainment, and his opinion of President Martin. He also discusses the impacts EKU had on his career and life.

Thelma Whitlock, a Kentucky native, discusses her education, her teaching career and the successful Model Lab School program. In this interview Whitlock discussed her education and the successful program at Model Lab. She felt it was due to leadership, teachers, and students. Her experiences at EKU were rewarding.

Mrs. Nancy Miller, a Tennessee native, came to EKU in 1930 to teach in the English Department. She would later work in the library, where she created the Learning Resource Center. Miller recalls her relationships with co-workers, students, and student teachers in the interview.
